She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses and Frances of Paul's Valley; her husband John Townsend; and her siblings, Lloyd, Chester, Hazel, Louise and Cathy.
She is survived by: her children, Liz (Barry), Ramah, Debbie (Don) and John Jr. (Suzanne Townsend). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 grand-children and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial should be made to the Pottawatomie County Historical Society & Museum or the Folds of Honor.
