With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darcee Dee Yancey of Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion J. Baptiste and Neoma Baptiste (Pensoneau); her brother Marion "Leroy" Baptiste; and her great-nephews, Ethan Marsh, Jeffrey Baptiste and Storm O'Brien.
She is survived by: her husband Dwight Yancey; her children, Ashley Gatlin (Tony) of Meeker, Ryan Yancey (Sommer) of Shawnee and Andrew Yancey (Shelby) of Shawnee; her grandchildren, Bode and Bailyn Gatlin of Meeker; and her siblings, Barbara Orr, Monju Downing, Robert Baptiste, Chuck Baptiste, Mike Baptiste, Ricky Baptiste, Nita Baptiste, Greg Baptiste, Mary Baptiste, Tim Baptiste and Suzette Baptiste. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
