He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McKaig and Edna McKaig; his brothers, Carl and Max; his wife Janice; his daughters, Stacy Chase (Eric) and Andrea Appleman (Boomer); his grandchildren, Ross Williamson (Aubrey), Erica Caine (Martin) and Vaughn Appleman; his sister-in-law Alice McKaig; his nieces, Mary and Marsha McKaig; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald (Cathy Boggs) and Cindi Boggs.
