It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Braden Charles Landreth of Shawnee, Oklahoma, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Marvin Vermeer of Sioux Center, Iowa.; and his uncles, Henry Wynia of Rock Valley, Iowa and Marlin Vermeer of Denver, Colorado.. He is survived by: his father Danny Landreth; his sons, Leighton and Lliam Melter; his wife Brenda Landreth of Norman Oklahoma; his mother Marcene Marvin (Waylon Marvin) of Creston Iowa; his grandparents, Loretta Vermeer of Sioux Center, Iowa, Suzanne Tutton of Tulsa, Oklahoma and David Landreth (Kim) of Newalla, Oklahoma; his brother Jared Landreth (Madisson); and his nephews, Luke and Ezra of Shawnee, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations would be made to the Community Foundation of Oklahoma (that supports participants of the drug court maintain sobriety, employment and turn from a life of criminal conduct) in memory of Braden and his passion for helping people overcome the chains of their addictions.
