With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Eugene Brooks (Shawnee, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Edward and Freeda Fern Brooks (Monroe); his brother Eldon Wayne Brooks; his parents-in-law, W. A. and Dortha Barton; and his brother-in-law John Inda.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Brooks (Barton); his son Stephen; his daughter-in-law Susan Brooks (Howard) of Shawnee; his daughter Laura; his son-in-law Robert Neal of Frisco, TX; his grandchildren, Dillon (Josie Hayden) of Moore, Hannah (Robb Lynam) of Macomb, Nathan (Faith Neal) of Houston, TX, Victoria Neal of Alexandria, VA and Elizabeth Neal of Waco, TX; his sister-in-law Phyllis Inda of Shawnee; and his great grandchild Hawthorn Hayden of Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
