She is survived by: her sons, Dustin Appel of Houston, TX. and Cody Appel (Kacey) of Shreveport, LA.; her grandchildren, Emery Appel of Houston, TX., Boland Appel of Shreveport, LA. and Hannah Olivia Whittington of Shreveport, LA.; her brother-in-law Waylen Appel of Woodward, OK.; and her siblings, Gene, Clarence, Floyd, Orval Ashpaugh, Jr., Joy Ann Ashpaugh, Lola Boyd, Willa Johnson, Carolyn Chamberlain and Juanita Herron.
