He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bender and Mary Lee Bender; and his pets, Lady, Dusty and Miss Kitty.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Lovins; his children, John (Shirlene) of Oklahoma City, OK. and Brandi (Matthew Hanson) of Greenwood, AR.; and his grandchildren, Steven Bender of Oklahoma City, OK., Kateland (Layton Corum) of Council Bluffs, IA., Cydney Bryan of Elkhorn, NE., Riddick Bryan of Greenwood, AR., Alec Hanson (Misty) of Bellevue, NE., Andrew Hanson (Grai) of Council Bluffs, IA., Michael Hanson of Fairbanks, AK., Lexi Hanson of Bellevue, NE., Easton, Aspen Corum of Council Bluffs, IA., Miley and Nolan Hanson of Bellevue, NE..
