He was predeceased by: his parents, George Herber and Katherine Herber (Ruf); his wife Lorene Herber; his brothers, Dave Herber, Bill Herber, Harry Herber, Dr. Raymond Herber and Alex Herber; and his granddaughter Leslie Schoenhals.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Schoenhals (Earl) of Shattuck, Elaine Neathery (Jim) of California, Darrell Herber (Ann) of Shattuck and Donna Herber Beatley (Robert) of Woodward; his brother Dr. Leo Herber (Claudine) of Scottsdale, Arizona; his grandchildren, Dr. Kevin Schoenhals (Monica), Chris Blackburn (Tammy), Erik Blackburn (Griselda), Jeni Hinkle (Jeff), Suzanne Allen (Dustin), Crystal Herber (Annie Drake) and Tricia Brown (Tim); and his stepgrandson Charles Beatley (Kerry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
