He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Bennett (Jack) and Louise Bennett (McCracken). He is survived by: his children, Heather Rachelle Bennett and Ryan Douglas Bennett; his wife Sharon McCorkell; his children, Brandon Risinger of Owasso and Lindsey Bennett of Broken Arrow; his grandchildren, Noah, Ellianna Risinger, Alexis, Easton, Hallie and Cadence Bennett; his siblings, Jerry Bennett (Keith Ann) of San Antonio, Texas and Phyllis Essex (Troy Essex) of Miami, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law Kathy Ball (Terry Ball) of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; and his mother-in-law Maxine McCorkell of Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
