He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Shelton (Winters) and Noah Shelton; his stepmother Ilene Shelton; and his siblings, Rosalee Sloan, Doris Marie Shelton, Marvaline Duck, L. B. Shelton, Mitt Shelton, Donald Shelton, Jay P. Shelton and Jackie Dale Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Shelton; and his children, Diana Berry, Brenda Shelton, Rhonda Wigg (Ken), Dina Covey (David) and Randy Shelton (Donna). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives.
