He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Tacker, Sr. and Lois Eskew Tacker; his wife Mary Cheryl; his children, Travis Tacker of Hobart and Jill Carter (BJ) of Hydro; his grandchildren, Berick Carter, Polly Tacker, Logan Tacker, Luke Tacker, Maggie Tacker and Collin Carter; his siblings-in-law, LeRoy and Sandra Jones; his aunt Lois Eskew of Penalosa, KS.; his brother Frank Tacker; his grandparents, Maudie Tacker, Arvil and Mary Eskew; his aunt Iris; and his uncles, Gloyd Huckabee and Lee Eskew.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Tipton Home, Mountain View Volunteer Fire Department, the Cloud Chief Volunteer Fire Department or the Cowden Community Center.
