She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Young and Bessie Chism Young; her husbands, Thurman Banks and James Howard; her son Max Banks; her great grandchild Charlie Freeman; and her brother Argel Carpenter.
She is survived by: her son Gary Banks of Stillwater; her daughter-in-law Shirley Banks of El Reno, OK; her granddaughter Cherie Ninomiya; her great grandchild Reina of Kansas City, KS; her grandchildren, Carrie Freeman (CR) and T. R. Banks (Renee); her great grandchildren, Lillian and Jack of Edmond, OK; her granddaughter Amy Read (Stan); her great grandchildren, Ella, Eden and Eli of Lufkin, TX; her granddaughter Angie Gubser (Eric); her great grandchild Aubrey of Lufkin, TX; her granddaughter Ali Miller (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Kaidence, Radley and Hazel Miller of El Reno, OK. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and beloved friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, Texas.
