He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar L. Woods and Beulah Woods; his stepson Karl Saleem; and his siblings, Gladys Hickmon, Clayto, Eartha, Adelbert, Delano, Clinto, Ronald and Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Woods; his children, Francene Johnson (Jeffery), Kecia Woods, Desnique Woods and Raymond D. Woods Jr.; his stepchildren, Akil Warren, Ramadan Saleem and Malikah Saleem; his siblings, Oscar F. Woods, Ethelia Bryant and Beverly Bennett; and his grandchildren, Demarea Woods (Stephon Jackson), Jayline LaRay Johnson, Jasmine Brower, Jonathan Johnson, Mylen Saunders and Elijah Gentry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions on public gatherings, private family funeral services will be held.
