She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Finis Mantooth and Ida Alice Chasteen; her husband Vernon Joe Spears; and her brothers, Ray, Charles, Harold, Loyal and Virgil Mantooth.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Spears (Melinda) of New Lima, Frankie Spears (Nancy) of Shawnee and Tonya Stief (Mike) of Seminole; and her siblings, Richard Mantooth of Moore, OK and Helen Crawford of Muskogee, OK. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren two great-great-grandchildren.
