He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Smith; his father-in-law Larry Murray; and his brother-in-law Gary Weston. He is survived by: his mother Norma Joan Smith (Black); his children, Richard "Ric" Lloyd Smith, II, Michael DeBrae and Katrina Ranel; his wife Tami Smith; his grandchildren, Acelyn, Aleigh and Tucker Snow of Taloga; his sister Verda Weston; his nephew Sean; his niece Julianne Weston of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his sisters, Patty Smith Hewitt (Ronnie) of Woodward, Oklahoma, Marilyn Morton (Jerry) of Woodward and Carolyn Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Samual of Woodward and Desiree of Tulsa.
