He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mahan and Sarah Mahan; his wife Peggy Willine Mahan; his grandson Jeffery Lynn Mahan, Jr.; and his siblings, Johnny Mahan, Anna Lee Ashing, Betty Mahan, Elizabeth Wildcat and Pat Bell.
He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Willine Stidman; his children, James Lewis Mahan, Jr. (Rosa) of Okemah, Jeffrey Lynn Mahan (Renee) of Wilson, Michael Henry Mahan (Roxanne Smith) of Schulter and Kelli Denise Endres (Kevin) of Schulter; his grandchildren, Codey Mahan, Alicia Mahan, Tommy Whisler, Nikita Hoover, Mario Martinez, Matthew Mahan, Johnathan Mahan, Emily Mahan, Curtis Taylor, Justin Winter and Jordan Endres; his brother Ed Mahan of Claremore; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Stidman (Debi) of Kusa, Suzie Short (Darrel) of Dallas, TX and Mary Stidman of Henryetta. He is also survived by friends and other relatives.
