With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Whinery (Sayre, Oklahoma), born in Canute, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 1, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive March (Richmond) and Richard Samuel Whinery; and his wife Athalie. He is survived by: his children, Kent Whinery (Sandy), Bret Whinery (Barbara) and Tess Chambers (Mark); his grandchildren, Landon Whinery of Dallas, TX, Morgan Whinery (Ben Habern), Kevin Frantz (AiLien), Kendra Bolay (Bryan), Jacob Whinery of Enid, OK and Kylie Chambers of Arcadia, OK.; his great grandchildren, Tiana, Jason, Bryce, Emery, Tenna, Maylie and Aisley; and his brother Lavern Whinery of Sayre, OK.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials in his name be made to 4RKids, 710 Overland Trail, Enid, OK 73703 a nonprofit organization supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities.
