He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Deaton and Lorene Deaton (Compton); his wife Norma Sue Deaton; and his siblings, Floyd Deaton, Denzel Deaton, Doyle Deaton and Lila Johns.
He is survived by: his brother Jerry; his children, Michael Smith of Savanna, Steve Smith (Patty) of Oklahoma City, Charlotte Wool (Ronnie) of Muldrow, OK and Larry Wilson of Savanna; his sister-in-law Jerry Deaton (Jackie) of Moore, OK; and his sisters, Glenda Vogt (late Milton Vogt) of Savanna and Barbara Roberson (Randy) of Savanna. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother.
