He is survived by: his children, Kim Cathey (Harold), Chris Whorton (Michelle), Joey Whorton and Rhonda Vaughn (Stuart); his grandchildren, Jennifer Whitten (Jared), Chelsea Davis (Zach), Madison Black (Woodrow), Abigail Whorton (Cabe), Levi Mason, Lexi Choate (Tanner), Ethan Whorton (Madison), Brittni Doig (Marshall), Ashley Kennon (Christopher), Haley Vaughn (Hunter), Corey Vaughn (Morgan), Hunter McCarn and Cheyene McCarn; his great grandchildren, Tyleigh, Jensyn, Kinsley, Paelyn, Dalton, Ayden, Miera, Bentley, Oaklynn, Everly Jane, Kadem, Lettie Ann and Axton; his close friends, Marvin Harper, Faye, Jimmy Evans, Peggy Armstrong and Jeannie Powell; and his caregiver Destiny Taylor.
