He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Houghton; his parents, Mabel Houghton and Harry Houghton Sr.; his siblings, Harry Houghton Jr., Garnett Houghton and Maudean Segress; and his half-brother Harry Douglas Houghton.
He is survived by: his daughter Malinda Bennett (James); his granddaughter Heather Helton (Levon Swearingen); and his brother-in-law Charles Segress. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
