He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Kerr and Dortha Lee Caldwell Geerdes; his stepmother Geraldine Geerdes; his siblings, Ronnie Bert, Michael and Jane Fisher; and his stepsisters, Sharon Mittelstet and Genevieve Geerdes.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Geerdes (Hunter); his sons, Benjamin (Isabel) and Zachary (Angela); and his brother David. He is also survived by her 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
