He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Hughes and Pauline Nichols (Orville Nichols); and his sister Debra Nichols Wheeler. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Hughes and Aaron Hughes; and his sisters, Paula Hughes Simmons and Judy Nichols Grigg. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
