It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Kay Denney of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, born in Hominy, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Linda Kay may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda Kay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ule Barnett and Jessie Barnett; and her son Donald Dewayne Denney. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Denney of Sapulpa; her son Steven Denney of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her granddaughter Brooke Denney (Hunter Griggs) of Okalona, Mississippi; her great grandchildren, Westin of Okalona, Mississippi and Avery Griggs of Okalona, Mississippi; and her siblings, Wanda Leaman (Bill Leaman) of Verdigris, EJ Barnett and Gene Barnett (Sonya Barnett) of Drumright, Oklahoma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pretty Water Baptist Church.
