He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Smith and Maxine Parker Smith. He is survived by: his son James Wesley; his wife Dena Michele Britton; his grandchildren, Kaden James Smith and Hadley Aaryn Smith; his sisters, Beverly Allen (Wayne) and Brenda Goodwin; and his siblings-in-law, Melodee Taber (Thomas), Jax Britton (Debbie), Phillip Britton (Stephani), Michael Britton, Shelley McClure (Steven) and Danielle Edwards (Mark). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
