She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Winchell and Ruth Winchell; her son Dr Gary D. Smith; and her sisters, Trula Basinger and Judy Hudgins.
She is survived by: her daughter Shari Singleton Smith; and her grandchildren, Dr. Braden Singleton, Morgan Singleton and Grant Hendon. She is also survived by 5 great grandsons.
