He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Downing and Wilma Downing. He is survived by: his wife Lanette Downing; his children, Shannon Komeshak (Patrick) of Swansea, IL, Natalie Mallory (Matt) of Tulsa, OK, Lance Downing (Jessica) of Sapulpa, OK and Nick Downing of Sapulpa, OK.; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emily, Allison Komeshak, Jeffrey, Addison Fletcher, Daisy and Delilah Downing; his mother-in-law Mary Lou Evans of Tulsa, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Evans of Tulsa, OK and Mike Sallada (Pam) of Manassas, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
