We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025, at the age of 91, Jack Thompson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jack departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jack may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jack leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Thompson and Ada Thompson (Lytle); his sisters, Walleia and Mary; and his son Jackie Wayne.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Rich and Kevin; his daughter-in-law Destiny; and his siblings, Betty Whitely and Dale Thompson, Sr..
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel (1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK 74066). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woodland Memorial Park (1200 N Cleveland Ave, Sand Springs, OK 74063).
