She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Walter Stratton and Ariena Hengst Stratton; her husband Earnest O. Thomas, Sr.; her daughter Peggy Gene Knight; and her brother Buster Stratton.
She is survived by: her son Earnest O'neal "Tommy" Thomas Jr. (Judy); and her grandchildren, April Wilson (Scott), Andrew Knight (Beverly "Buffy"), Richard Knight, Catie Herdon and Jodie Blotner (Michael).
