She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Walter Stratton and Ariena Hengst Stratton; her husband Earnest O. Thomas, Sr.; her daughter Peggy Gene Knight; and her brother Buster Stratton.
She is survived by: her son Earnest O'neal "Tommy" Thomas Jr. (Judy); and her grandchildren, April Wilson (Scott), Andrew Knight (Beverly "Buffy"), Richard Knight, Catie Herdon and Jodie Blotner (Michael).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (3900 Twin City Hwy, Groves, TX 77619).
