The memory of Donna Raye Rangel (Sapulpa, Oklahoma), born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Tom, Myrtle Harmon, Virgil Wall, Truman and Mearl McPeak; her mother Daphne June Daniels; her stepfather Cecil Daniles; her brother Daniel Harmon; and her stepbrother Jerry Daniels.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Rangel; her children, Jim Squirrel (Jessica Squirrel) of Bixby, OK, Nicole Talamantes-Squirrel (Luis Talamantes) of Sapulpa, OK, Danue Williams (Cassie Williams) of Sapulpa, OK and Michael Rangel (Hailey Rangel) of Sapulpa, OK; her father Monroe Junior Harmon of Sapulpa; her sisters, Connie Rickner of Glenpool, OK and Bobbie Bartlett of Broken Arrow; and also April Harmon Maines of Ft Myers. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel (1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK 74066). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
She enjoyed helping others and was very active in a pay in forward group as well as spearheading numerous fundraising efforts for charity. In lieu of flowers, Donna's wish is for you to honor her by an act of kindness for a stranger in her memory.
