He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis G Smith and Clara Mae Smith; his wife Chrystal Smith; his son Terry Smith; and his sister Jo Dockrey.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Smith, Chuck, Jerry, Howard Smith (Tonya), Eddie Joe Smith and Barbie; his daughter-in-law Kim Smith; and his grandchildren, Brian, David, Nancy, Amy, Darrell, Blake, Shawn, Dillon, Brandi, Jenifer, Brittany, Bradley, Jason, Buddy Joe and Judson. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
