He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward James Cody Sr. and Pearl Elen Cody; his wife Maxine Cody (Gleeson); his son James Edward Cody; his grandson Patrick Harper; his daughter-in-law Kay Cody; and his siblings, Edward Cody Jr., Eugene Cody, Wayne Beougher, Paul Beougher, Clyde Beougher, Don Hand, Clara Reed, Wanda Mae Chambers, Leah Robinson and Alma Krebs.
He is survived by: his nephews, Jim and Tim; his children, Timothy Cody and Patricia Harper (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Misty Lee Cody, Matthew Cody (April), Timmy Cody (Misty D.), Trey Harper (Johnna), Anthony Harper (Amanda) and Thomas Cody (Tylyn). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service (211 E Broadway St, Sand Springs, OK 74063). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery West.
