It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue James of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, born in Stigler, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Franklin Kimbrell and Loretta Kimbrell (Honeycutt); and her son Dennis Scott James. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Lee "D. J." James; her children, Kathy Baker (Ken) of Tulsa, Denise William of Salina, Vicky Winters (Bill) of Tulsa, Ron Simmons (Melissa) of Parker and Wayne James (Vonda) of Mannford; her sister Linda Little (Carl) of Sapulpa; and her grandchildren, Preston Baker, Jennifer Nowak, Jason Baker, Nikki Jo Baker, Michael William, David William, Danielle William, Nicole Perez, Cody Blackburn, Kyle Winters, Jenna Quinter, Travis Przeklasa, Blake Simmons, Michael Simmons, Matthew Simmons, Charlotte Simmons, Brittney Workman, Tyler Arter, Breeanna James, McKayla Wilson and Coalton James. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
