We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2024, at the age of 85, Orville Burgess of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay C. Burgess and Josie May Burgess (Hicks); his son Charles Dewane Burgess; and his siblings, Nadine Newell, Vivian Bain, Arlie Burgess, Dorothy King, Margaret Ament, Guy "Fibber" Burgess and Nina House.

He is survived by: his daughter Angela Rich; his grandchildren, Tracer Burgess-Brown (Bron), Samantha Wertman (Vincent) and Amelia Rich (Russell); and his great grandchildren, Gracie Wertman, Mackenzie Hood and Millie Brown.
