We bid farewell to Mabel Childers Segner of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2025 at the age of 102. Mabel Childers touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Childers and Maude Childers; her husband Thomas Segner; and her siblings, Nola Kinion, Lora Pruitt, Opal Brennsing, Jewel Hammett, Juanita Childers, Midge McDermid, Owen, Arthur, Orville, Jefferson, Lowell, Bill and Everett Childers.
She is survived by: her sons, Victor Segner (Marianne) and Jeff Segner (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Kristen Maronek (Brannon), Tori Gengenbach (Eric) and Tommy Segner (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Max, Drew, Luke Maronek, Emmy, Holden Segner, Olivia, Bella, Abby and Eden Gengenbach.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service (211 E Broadway St, Sand Springs, OK 74063). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery (1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434).
