With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Joyce Bynum of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Frances Cotner and Clara Lavine Cotner (Wells); her husband Robert Ray "Bob" Bynum; her son Michael Tullie Bynum; her brother Joe Bill Cotner; and her brother-in-law Don Spears.
She is survived by: her daughter Cassie Weigle (Jed); her grandchildren, Cole Weigle, Skyler Bynum (Christina), Tyler Bynum (Dinesha) and Alexander Bynum (Kenady); her great grandchild Chloe Bynum; her sisters, Brenda May Spears of Vian, Carolyn Sue Williams (Ned) of Pawnee and Sally Annette Simon (Jerry Paul) of Vian; and her sister-in-law Joyce Cotner.
She served many years as the president of the Sand Springs Teachers Association and the Sand Springs Education Foundation, making significant contributions to local education.
