He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Swafford and Frieda Swafford (Winningham); his brother Jimmy Paul Swafford; and his former wife Joanna Sue Swafford (McCalip). He is survived by: his pet Sugar; his children, Jason (Sky), Tenena (Melvin), Kevin (Katie) and Matt-Matt; his grandchildren, Aaron, Chance, Grace, Colin and Everett; and his sister Carolyn Swafford Dollar (Richard).
