He was predeceased by: his parents, Hall George and Ruth Burns (Whitten). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gayle Ekiss; his children, Greg (Debbie) and Teresa Stott (Ken); and his siblings, Jim Burns (Mary), John Burns (Minnie) and Carol Towler. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
