He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva Rogers (Taylor) and Earl Jay Rogers; and his siblings, Vearl Dean, Garlen, Arlen, Marchel, Hubert, Velma Boyd and Anna Christine Bordelon.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Jane "Polly" Asbill; his sister-in-law Sue Osburn (Asbill); his brother Roy Wayne Rogers (Pamela); and his brothers-in-law, Melvin Dee Asbill, Beverly of Liberty, OK and Jim Bordelon of La Place, LA. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews; countless other relatives and friends.
