It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Faye (Stites) Pruitt of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, born in Vian, Oklahoma, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noma Maye Stites (Timmerman) and Theodore "Ted" McKinley Stites; her siblings, Carla Wortman and Tommy Stites; and her sister-in-law Jane Stites.
She is survived by: her husband James Thomas Pruitt; her children, Paige Machal of Broken Arrow, OK, Sean Pruitt of Sallisaw, OK and Aaron Pruitt (Belinda) of Weyers Cave, VA; her grandchildren, Johnathon Mattingly, Brittni Moore, Jared, Brittany Mattingly, Hazer Pruitt, Jessica Mattingly, Piper Pruitt, Carrie Pruitt, Hannah Pruitt, Sierra Douillard and Dalea Dawn Skelton; her great grandchild Brailynn Moore; and her siblings, Ann Weaver of Muldrow, OK, Vicki Beaty (Wally) of Roland, OK, Beth Stites Patterson (Tim) of Sallisaw, OK, Melvin Stites of Vian, OK, Bill Stites (Kathy) of Sallisaw, OK, Roger Stites (Lavonne) of Sallisaw, OK and Charles Stites of Dewey, OK. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Margaret Faye was known for her many donations to help out with fundraisers such as FFA, Band, and the Buffington Cemetery Association throughout the years.
