He was predeceased by: his parents, Monte "Red" Speer of Vian and Helen Speer (Nicholas) of Sallisaw; and his brother Billy Speer of Vian, Oklahoma.. He is survived by: his siblings, Paula Sanders of Chelsea, Oklahoma, Kathy (Mike Bowner), Stephen Speer (Teresa) of Sallisaw and Gary Gott of Vian, Oklahoma.; his grandsons, C. J. and Jonathon Saffel; his nephews, Nathan, John Sanders and Monte Honeycutt; his great-niece Skyla Honeycutt; and his great-nephews, Talon, Jase, Mason and Kyle Honeycutt.
