It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kayla Curtis of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Kayla departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kayla may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kayla leaves behind.
She is survived by: her parents, Belinda Kay (Curtis) and Roland Eugene Mackley; her siblings, Candy Curtis of Chicago, IL and Zahn Miller of Pocola, OK; and her aunt Vicki Long (David). She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
