She was predeceased by: her parents, Hallie Cross (Wright) and Harvey Guy Cross; and her husband Kenneth Pryor Vann. She is survived by: her sons, Brett Vann of Fort Smith, AR, Shannon Vann (Cheryl) of Sallisaw, OK and Wade Vann (Brandi) of Roland, OK.; her grandchildren, Nathan Vann (Catherine) of Tulsa, OK, Sarah Riley Long (Jordan) of Little Elm, TX, Marissa Babirak (Kyle) of Chantilly, VA and Whitley Coatney (Logan) of Roland, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Nolan Long, Camden Coatney and Jac Elaine Vann.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (122 W Chickasaw Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955).
Throughout her life, Joy made meaningful contributions to her community.
