He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Burl and Jimmie Irene Carson (Samples); his brother Lonnie Carson; his niece Jaymie Raylynn Riggs; and his great-niece Kayla Elizabeth Fletcher.

He is survived by: his siblings, Bonnie Riggs of Norman, Jerry (LaRea Carson), Roger (Anita Carson), Bob (Judy Carson) and Scott (Stephanie Carson); his sister-in-law Linda Carson of Moore; his children, Jimmy Neal of Sallisaw, Jackie Carson of Sallisaw and Tiffany Carson Harrell of Sallisaw; his grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Carson, Jason Carson, Justin Carson, Tyler Harrell, Jonathan Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Chelsea Ray, Ariel Queen and Belle Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Johnathan Newman, Savanah Wilson, Briana Crocker, Gage Carson, Mariah Carson, Alic Carson, Arabella Carson, Haley Wilson, Josh Wilson Jr., Samuel Wilson, Nikoli Wilson, Faithlynn Wilson and Ryan Harrell. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
