It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ira Eugene Rolston of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Rolston (Dever) and Charlie Cecil Rolston; his sons, Patrick and Gene; his brother Eldon; and his nephew Wayne.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Davis; his daughter Heather Martinez (Victor) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Shawn Rolston (Ashley) of Sallisaw, Oklahoma., Stephanie, Randy, Nikki, Gracie, Chance, Haley, Ethan, Madison, Adyn and Kadyn; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Avalon, Avery, Tabre, Tyde, Bowen, Bralen, Everleigh, Creed and Scottie.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Assembly of God (514 W Cherokee Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Box Cemetery.
