She is survived by: her children, Ethel Sherrill (Stephen), Rose Mary Lawler of San Angelo, TX, Sharon Abrams (Charles), Sue Jenkins McCoy (J. D. Barrow), Lisa Russell (Brad), J. D. Atkerson (Betty), Bill Atkerson (Jewell) and Sherman McGowan of Sallisaw, OK; and her siblings, Mary Whiten of Connors, GA, Emmett Burris of Sapulpa, OK, Odis Burris of Sapulpa, OK, Donald Burris of Stillwater, OK and Walter Burris of Vian, OK. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
