He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey Pruitt and Opal Lee Pruitt (Craighead); his wife Linda Ruth Pruitt (Marrs); and his siblings, Troy Pruitt, Carl Pruitt, Jimmy Pruitt, George Pruitt, Lucille Pruitt Thompson, Lois Pruitt Bervel, Bess Pruitt and Pearl Pruitt McDonald.

He is survived by: his children, Ann Louise Rand of Houston, TX and Corey Edward Pruitt of Lewisville, TX; his grandsons, Colson and Garrett Rand of Dallas, TX; and his siblings, Dorothy Davis (Tommy) of Vian, OK and Loye Dale Pruitt of Vian, OK. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to Colon Cancer Research, your local animal shelter, or your favorite charity.
