He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Callahan and Bonnie Callahan (Allen); his sons, Loren and Edward; his grandson Anthony Callahan; his brother Virgle; and his in-laws, Gene and Evelyn Herrick.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Callahan; his children, Brett (Kim) of Littleton, Karl (Rose) of Arvada Colorado and Carol Clark of Denver; his siblings, Barbara Cummings, Shirley Hoffman, Wes, Bill, Charlie, John and Frank; the mother of his children Sharon; his grandson Sean Harris (Nancy); and his great grandchild Anabella Callahan.
