He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Roy and Jeannie Lou Hughes (Levi); his wife Caroline Sue Hughes (Arneecher); and his sons, Patrick William Sanders, Robby Hughes (Teece) of Pryor and Bruce Hughes (Lisa) of Walterboro.
He is survived by: his daughter Tabitha Hughes of Pryor; and his siblings, Roy Hughes of Salina, Mikey Hughes of Salina and T. J. Hughes of Salina.
