As Scott departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Scott may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Scott leaves behind.

He was predeceased by : his brother Max Taylor; and his stepfather Truett Shirley (Beckman) of Rush Springs. He is survived by : his father Arnold Taylor of Chickasha; his girlfriend Joanne Hutchinson; his children, Brendon Taylor (Taylor Holmes) of Andarko and Brittany Kirby (Cole Kirby) of Midwest City; his granddaughter Kynzleigh Taylor; and his sister Carol Taylor (Roger Crow) of Duncan.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel (326 W Blakely Ave, Rush Springs, OK 73082). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
