It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Smelley (Rush Springs, Oklahoma), born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 4, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Smelley and Estelle Smelley (Ivy); and his siblings, Pete Smelley and Dorothy Slack. He is survived by: his significant other Carrolyn Sue; his daughters, Bennie Gaye Smelley of Lawton and Sherri Beavers (Clint) of Celina, TX; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Dawson and Brody; and his brother J. W. "Dub" Smelley (Faye) of Rush Springs.
